This Privacy Policy explains how MuscleBoss collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the MuscleBoss mobile app, website, and related services.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account data such as name, email address, authentication provider, and profile settings.
  • Workout data such as routines, workout plans, active workout sessions, sets, notes, PR history, and progress records.
  • Health and fitness data you choose to connect, including steps, weight, heart rate, sleep, and recent workout summaries.
  • Device and app data such as push notification tokens, app version, timezone, and platform details.
  • Operational data related to notification engagement, service reliability, and product analytics.

2. How We Use Information

  • Provide account access, workout tracking, routines, reminders, and AI-assisted product features.
  • Personalize coaching, recommendations, reminders, and workout context.
  • Send transactional emails such as verification and password reset messages.
  • Send push notifications you have enabled, including workout reminders, inactivity nudges, and product updates.
  • Monitor performance, prevent abuse, and improve the product.

3. Health Data

Health-related information is only accessed when you explicitly connect a supported health provider or grant device-level permissions. We use that data to improve workout context, recommendations, and coaching features.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with providers that support authentication, cloud hosting, email delivery, push notifications, analytics, and AI infrastructure, only as needed to operate the service.

5. Retention and Security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no system can be guaranteed fully secure.

  • You can update profile and training settings in the app.
  • You can disconnect health permissions through your device or provider settings.
